Hey everybody,

I own a 19' Belmont with a Ford 302 5.0 OMC cobra. I changed the oil, fuel filter and oil filter 2 years ago. My boat has sat in the garage since and has not been started. I'm now ready to get the boat going again for the summer.

Do I need to change the oil, fuel filter and oil filter again? Just the oil?

Also, any other advice on things I need to check out since it's been two years.

Thanks guys

Ayuh,.... I wouldn't worry 'bout the oil, 'n oil filter,.....

I'd be worried 'bout the 2 year old fuel, 'n fuel filter though,.....

if you chainged oil during winterization, however didnt start it, you should be good.

however if you have had any fuel in the boat, it has long gone and turned to varnish. you will be best served cleaning your fuel system.

if you didnt change the raw water impeller, I suggest you do. also, do not remove the one screw from the side of the cobra drive (covered in the stickies)
