Hello out there. I've just started restoring a 1957 Johnson 35hp motor, RDE-19. So far so good although I haven't gotten into the guts of it yet. But, I have painted the cowling. Someone had previously painted the whole motor black and now it's up to me to change that.

At any rate, I've painted the cowling and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've located a guy on the internet that has a ton of stuff for this and other motors. His site is: www.nymarine.ca

He's got the decals, emblems and assorted other pieces that I need to bring this motor back to what it should be. Here's my problem though. When I looked at his site about ordering, he's a bit antique. He says to send my CC number via email or give him a call and give it to him that way. Neither of which I'm real comfortable with provided that I've never dealt with him before. I have no reason to believe he's not on the level... but you know how things go.

Has anyone out there in iboat land dealt with nymarine.ca? He said I can send an international money order which is no problem, but a CC would certainly speed things along.

Thanks every one!

I've been dealing with him for 10 years. He's not only an outstanding business man, but his product quality is second to none.

He only keeps names and addresses on file, no cc numbers. I call him every time, and he remembers me, I just need to give a new cc #.

Awesome guys! Thank you so much. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but when dealing with CC numbers it's just plain scary.

Thanks again... making the call today.

Alrighty... had a great conversation with Peter over at nymarine.ca today. You guys that had answered my question about ordering from him were absolutely right. We talked a little bit about motors, a little bit about politics and a little bit about the state of affairs. Gave him my information with complete confidence. I'm sure that I'll be ordering from him again. Thanks again for the recommendations.
