Question about shift cables

I have a 92 1950 and I was wondering if one of you with a similar model could tell me if the shift cables run over or under the side pocket on the starboard side.

Hey Chris -
Very briefly it doesn't really matter where the cables lay. In a perfect world they should be as high as possible to keep them away from any water, but when ordering them they may be a tad bit too long - or short - and there will be your "over / under" situation. Your main concern should be aimed at a smooth shifting situation, not necessarily their placement.

I was just wondering...I had the side panels off to put new vinyl on and I had let the project sit to long. Couldnt remember if they were over or under.
