question about ss prop

ok other then the fact a ss prop is stronger and thiner, other then bite what are the other advantages of ss over aluminum

stainless is much "stronger" than aluminum. At high RPMs aluminum will "bow" or distort under the torque of the engine-ss wil be "stronger" and less flexable with less distortion. Your engine will be more efficient, and you will go faster (provided it is a high HP engine). The down side is that ss is not very forgiving. If you hit bottom, or a stump or a log with AL prop you will simply tear up or destroy the prop, with ss you run the risk of tearing up the gears of the lower unit. I have run a ss prop for the last 12 years (ran AL for 8 years before that), you just do not want to make a mistake with ss (vis a vie AL).
