Question about trim and storage

In order to fit my new boat in the garage I had to move things around and put it at an angle. Still, I had to adjust the trim on the motor to make it fit. I couldn't have it all the way up and on the transom saver, and I couldn't have it all the way down since there is a ledge near the wall and the skeg goes down too far. I have an Optimax 75 on an '06 Lowe FM165 if that matters.
What I am wondering is if this is a problem to have the motor trimmed and sitting in the garage like this? I typically fish once a week but in the winter it could sit for a couple of months. This is my first time with a boat that has electric trim/tilt.
Thanks!

over the winter, I'd lower it so it rests on that ledge or a block or something

Yeah? Set it on a block of wood is a good idea? No problem for the weekly thing though?
