Question about where to connect battery cable

I am looking at a I/O Volvo Penta that says "220E" on the manifold and it's a 1986 V8.

The Positive battery cable is not connected and I am not sure where the starter is on this boat.

Is there a link to a manual on here (I've searched but can't find one) or can someone tell me where to look?

Thanks!

Do you have a master battery switch? Most are red and 5-6" in diameter.

Hmmm...have you ever attached the battery cable to a starter before? I wonder if you might want to have someone help you the first time.

Smiling.... I just hope that when you are saying starter you actually mean solenoid. Good luck with your project.

Mystery solved. No starter installed. Found it under a seat along with solinoid. Gotta replace and go from there.

Thank for all the help! As usual, this forum is like having a few hundred experts staning right beside you!
