I have a 1986 Bayliner capri cuddy 18 foot 8 inches with a force 125 hp. I have replaced the decks and restored insides, the motor has 123 on all 4 jugs and runs like a dream.

What would be a fair price for this boat?

I have also put new tire and bearings and lights on the trailer whitch is a caulkins.

I wouldn't say I'm a complete "boat nut", but I would guess somewhere in the 2k-3k range. Make sure you make it really clear the the deck has been replaced as most Bayliners of that age (including my own 1986 Bayliner) are in need of a deck replacement.

i would say more on the 2 side than the 3. you have two things with bad reps, bayliner, and force.

Thanks , I live in an area that has so many bayliners it isnt funny. They built them a little north of me.

Bad reps is a hard thing to overcome for sure. I make sure people know this is a pre merc up grade motor, seems after the "upgrades" they went very sour fast.

I used this boat and motor in the gulf up to 20 miles out and trusted it, never failed me once.

I wont sell it with the gps or radio, at least not at 3k

Thanks again.
