You replied to my question on the water in my '64 Johnson motor and mentioned drain plug seals. There are only screws that came out of the holes. The top "level" screw and the lower "drain" screw. Is there supposed to be something like an o-ring behind the head of the screw? Thanks again!

SAndy

Yes, Sandy.

They should be replaced at every oil change, too.

Good luck. :)

Ditto, Sandy make sure you get the right type for your screws. If you have an undercut on back of screw head it will take an "o" ring.If flat use nylon washer type.
