You said in a post somewhere that your Capri had an ok floor, but the bilge area was where you had troubles. Were you talking the flooring area under the splashwell? Battery compartment area?<br /><br />Both of those places ARE problems in my Capri also. It's interesting that 2 of the basic same boats had the same failure.....

You need to find that post for me. :) <br />The floor was rotted all over. The floor above fuel tank I thought was ok was actually bowed about 1 inch! The rear area under the splash well was actually fine. the same thing(frame its called in runabout renovation) in front of the tank was rotted and falling apart. I think the reason is the guy had the bow down and the water killed the front areas and floor which is what was rotted. The rear and stringers survived.<br />If the guy had left the plug out and bow high I bet it would have been beter but it was still rotted on the bottom of the floor.
