Question for solittle or anyone else.

I have bought a boat last year in September and the identifacation tag on the side of the motor mount is gone.My motor is a 110hp Evinrude with vro.It is a metallic silverish greyish color.In one of the posts you mentioned you have 110hp outboards.I have looked at the round plug on the top of the cylender and it has number c7210200 on it.With this information can you help me figure out what year outboard I have purchased?The boat it is mounted on is a 1987 16 foot glasscon.<br />Thanks for any information.

Hi glassc<br /><br />The metallic Gray/Blue ( really hard to determine exactly what !) started in 1984 - 85 and they came out that colour untill 1999 where the dark blue entered. I would guess you have a 1987, like your boat, then.

According to OMC's old model reference, they only made 110 Rudes from '86 till '89.<br /><br /> Check here for yourself. <br />Good luck!
