Hello Neighbors!

I've got my '94 Cabrio 280 in Green Bay, and absolutely love that area for boating. South Bay Marina is beautiful and has great accommodations, we have two sand bars (long tail & little tail) just 15 minutes away, the Fox River has tons of bars and restaurants with water access, and Door County is just 60 miles north.

Problem is, I just moved to Milwaukee and I'm getting sick of the 2 hour drive every weekend. So as I ponder the idea of bringing the boat down to Port Washington, I'm wondering if anyone in the area can fill me in on any destinations or good day trips (other than shooting across the big pond) in the Port Washington / Milwaukee area to make the move a little more enticing.

lots of fishing off of Port Washington, however not much scenery change between Door County and Milwaukee.

if its stopping places by boat, stick to the Bay of Green Bay and Door county.

kind of the reason why most people in Milwaukee and Chicago head north, either up I43 or on the water?
