Hi, I am running from the allies and I just bought a Viking 6hp motor in great shape. The Gas/Oil mix chart on the gas tank has worn off so I can't read it. Anyone know what it should be? Here are the particulars:

Viking 6hp
Built in 1969
Model 64901

Also, if anyone knows the branded equivalent or where I can get a manual, that would be great! I need to move again now. Bye!
Thanks,
Saddam

Had one of those Saddam, the oil ratio should 300:1.

I had a shop manual for it once too, but it was in my office in the World Trade Center.

heres a simple test

take six gallons of gas

add one quart of oil

shake vigorously

take a Strike anywhere match and scrape it against the opening in the tank, - the flaring will indicate the proper oil mix, dim flare equals too much oil, store in open buckets till needed and add more gas

be sure you have a good close look at the tank opening when you do so

Enjoy the 72 virgins in what ever the islamic version of hell is

::waving bye bye::

Hi Viking-

Did you try AOMCI (I think it's antique outboard motor something, and www.aomci.com). They'll know right off.
