Time to get new control cables for my '74 Johnson 50. These cables and motor did not come with this boat so it is kind of a guessing game. How does this cable loop look at the motor? Should I order cables an extra foot longer?
^^^+1 the length looks fine. Unless, as stated above, they are being pulled into a tight bend causing them to bind when you crank the engine hard over you should be fine.
