Question on prop blade shape?

I was taking note of other peoples props the other day at the boat ramp. I noticed that some have "rounder" blades on the props and others are more "pointy". What are the purposes of the different shaped blades? Are some for high speed and others for getting out of the hole? <br /><br />Thanks<br />Chris

Last question was your answer.....kinda. There are different shapes for the thousands of different hull designs and weights, and the horsepower pushing it. No standard answer.
