I have a Citation 190 with a 3.0L mercruiser with an Alpha One outdrive. When im on plain around 35-40 MPH it takes almost two hands on the wheel to keep my outdrive from spinning left. Its not bad at slow speeds, but a WOT its pretty bad. This is my first I/O, is this normal or should something be looked at. Thank you in advance.

Re: question on torque steer??

You can adust the small fin on the sterndrive to compensate for the torque steer, that's if the fin is still there.

The trim fin on the back of the outdrive needs adjusted.
It's also an anode, so if it's corroded away over 50% it needs replaced.

They come in Several Sizes,....... If you get 1 of the Larger 1s,.....
Make Sure it Clears the Prop by Atleast a 1/4" or so.............
