Question - Replacing Motorguide Pro Series W/Minn Kota Powerdrive

I have a 1997 Nitro 700LX with a Motorguide Tracker Pro Series 50 lb trolling motor on it. I am wanting to replace it with a Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 55 & was wondering about the difference in deck mounts, whether I would have to have more holes - size of mount, etc. Any help is appreciated.

The MinnKota has a very small footprint but it is doubtful the hole spacing would be the same for both motors. If not, the solution is to simply install a $30 MinnKota quick release plate using the existing holes. The holes in the mating plate for the motor are already spaced for the V2.
