Paul, you don't need no stinking "fuel enhancer", tune you engine to the proper specs & it will run just fine.

Fuel additives really dont work. Engine manufacturers have spent millions of dollars on research to find out if additives work or not and the evidence is that they arent worth the money you spend to use them. Why spend $20.00 a gallon on additives when gasoline is only $1.80 to $2.20 a gallon? My mechanic swears that Marvel Mystery Oil is the best stuff around so I use a little of it in my gas every once in a while, but I see no increased performance or anything like that.

If the gta fuel enhancer worked as the sales pitch suggests, motor makers would be recommending you use it, or gasoline makers would be using it as part of their additive package...just a Thought

I new I would catch Hel* for even mentioning this product. I do not sell it either.

But before you knock it, I think you should call the owner of the product and get the skinny on it like i did. I was turned on to this product by a good freind that used it and got me to use it. Im not the type that will just pick something off the shelf and dump it into my vehicles on just what it says on the bottle. This product was developed for the aviation industry and it has much higher standards than boats and automobiles do.

I would say that 95% of products made for engines are trash, but then you have the 5% that actually do work. Beleive me, this one works and has no harmfull effects. It added 100 RPM to my top end and the engine just sounds smoother. The exhaust is much cleaner also and is not as offensive to my wife like it used to be. (Now thats a big plus)!

GTA Fuel enhancer

You can order it from this site.

LD...I traveled thru your state a couple of weeks ago to catch some salmon in Gold Beach and saw alot of bumperstickers that said ORYGUN...what's that referring to?
Sounds like this gta fuel enhancer will do everything but make bread...and if it won't make fresh bread I personally won't be interested...just a Thought

That's how most people not from Oregon say Oregon. 95% of people that don't live here pronounce it wrong.

As for the GTA stuff, I have no idea if it works but I'll probably try it if I ever get my boat running. Alot of people doubt seafoam works as good as people say it does too; however, most people on this board have used it and seen that it actually IS a mericle product.

Zm0z...I use Seafoam to decarb, and I go down to my local auto parts store to buy it. Mechanics around here use it...parts stores sell it, and it don't make the improbable claims that I see on the GTA website. My gut feeling is that it will join the other 50,000 fuel enhancement products to oblivion...but I surely hope there is an ounce of something out there that that i can add to the 15 gallons of gas in my vehicle that will make it run as it never has before...when it shows up I'll run down to my local parts store and buy some...just some ramblings
ps. Let us know how it works..no disrespect intended

Re: question to lubedube

Hey, beleive me, I do not blame anyone for discounting the claims, I wouldnt have tried it if my freind hadnt "given" me enough to put in my boat and I hadnt talked to the owner of the company first before I used it, I would never have even tried it myself, but now Im glad I did. My first reaction to his request was, "You want me to do what"? You only use 2 oz. per 15 gals. of fuel, it really is quite inexpensive to use.

Oh, and for the answer to the ORYGUN question.

People tend to mispronounce Oregon as Oragone. So someone came up with the spelling of ORYGUN to show how it is suppose to be pronounced. Anyway thats how us hill folks pronounce it.

Thought101:

So what are ya doing in Idaho? We come to Idaho at least once a year as my wifes family is there scattered all over. Boise (Sister), Cambridge, (Father), New Plymoth (Brother), Jerrome, (Neice. I dont care much for the state other than the northern part, but then Oregon is like that also, the west side is very obviously the best unless you like the desert.

between you me and the wall LD, this is a great place for an outdoorsman to live. Tho as with other great sportsman's edens, overcrowding is getting to be a factor...
I love visiting Oregon, but it's great coming back across the Snake River...

Even though we are off topis, I guess we can continue.

I understand what you are saying, My father-in-law used to live up north in Council, I liked to go there in the early spring and shoot squeeks (Marmonts) They were everywhere and was a ball. There was a local farmer there that had a real problem with them digging everything up, and I mean a real problem. I have a 22 Mag and spent plenty on shells. We also 4 wheeled all over from his house, always saw Elk and Bear, even saw some bobcats once. My wifes cousin hunts with dogs, (Aint it awfull), and we treed a few Cougars but just took pictures. It definatly is a much better state in that respect and the law doesnt seem to be on your back every time you move. We like the ocean though and we like it here on the lake. To each his own!
