I will be doing some winter bass fishing just like too know if if it below freezing when I pull my boat out of the lake will the mortor drain with out hurting it or is there something I should do to pertect it ? Thanks

Should be fine, the engine wont be anything near cold when you pull it out. The warmth of the engine and gear case should allow everything to drain before it cools down... Is that what your asking???

Yes thanks should be ok if fishing shallow water and trimming it up and down as long as the motor is warmed

Yes, it would need to be REAL cold for it freeze on you while you're using it. Once it's at "operating temp" then its going to be running in that 140 degree range.
