I have a 1975 Regal 21' Cuddy and I can't figure out how the head works. There's a handle but when I pump the handle noting appears to happen. This forum is kinda slow so I'll give it a couple days and post pics if they're needed.

Hey...

I have an '89 ... is this the type of head that stows under the cushions in the cabin? If so, you need to have the eco-friendly solution in the head (instructions should be posted on the unit). When you pump it, that fluid should mix in and then you open the drain to "flush".

Bottom line.. I think the fluid reservoir might be empty.

That's the one. Nobody knows it's there until I show them. I don't remember seeing any instructions on it but I'll take a look. Can you take a picture of the instructions in case mine aren't there? It would be really nice to be able to stay out longer.

Thanks.

Any idea where I might find the fluid reservoir and/or storage tank if there is one? All I have is the head and from what I've seen there is no vent or place to put fluid that I can find. I'll look again tomorrow but is it possible that all I have is the head and the two thru-hull fittings? In this case, it would not be useable for solids unless outside of the no-discharge zone, right?
