Hey All,

I've been reading through a ton of posts and was just curious about some stuff with the amount of people on here.

1. Who has the biggest boat on the forum? If you don't or know you aren't close, what's the biggest boat you've ridden in? (charter boats, commercial, naval ships don't count)

2. Whats the most people you've ever crammed on your boat?

3. Whats the longest you've ever stayed on your boat? Both intentionally and unintentionally?

4. What's the farthest you've ever taken your vessel from your dock or boatramp?

5. Whats the farthest you've trailered it?

6. What is the farthest you've gone (or would go) to buy a boat?

My answers are:

1. I've ridden on and piloted a 42' sailboat years ago when my girlfriends father took us out.

2. I crammed 8 people on my 24' 1977 Bayliner when we used to party over on Fire Island in NY

3. Just a weekend on the same 24' bayliner

4. I've gone about 20 miles or so on the south side of Long Island

5. I trailered my current boat about 60 miles

6. The same 60 miles for the last boat I bought, but I think my next one I'll be willing to go a lot farther with a good tow vehicle.

Ok.. your turn!

yeah, I left LI in 99 and headed for Colorado. While there sept 11th happened and you know the rest in regard to real estate prices so, alas, I could not afford to move back. I had family down here in NC and decided to give it a shot. At first I did not like it at all, but that was mostly because I was just bitter.. but now I LOVE it here and yeah, it gets a little toasty, but it's not too terribly bad. Also I do love the fact that the winters are mild and I can be outdoors most of the year.

No clammin' here... lol. I do miss that though.. and crabbin'... and captree.
