Well, I am buying another boat. But the problem is that I am going to sell my current boat and motors and I have no idea what they are worth. Could someone tell me about what I could get for my stuff.

I live on the West central coast of FL, Pinellas County.

I have:

1. 1997 11ft-12ft fiberglass v-hull (it's like a jon boat), OK condition. The trailer is homade, not by me, and does the job, but not the best.

2. 1997 5hp 2-stroke Tohatsu OB, GOOD condition, starts/runs no problem.

3. 1978 9.8hp Merc 110 Thunderbird (or something like that), OK condition, start/runs no problem.

Could someone give me an idea of what a fair price would be.

Thanks in advance!

Look in NADA (nada.com) for the price of your boats. Their current years, so they will be there. A very good source.

Pick up a copy of Boat Trader sold in most convenience stores for comparables.

You might also look in eBay for simular engines to get an idea. Much of the price depends on condition of course.

Re: $ Questions $

you are in a market area that is overloaded with boats, don't over price it.
