Quick Carburetor Question - HELP!!!

Motor: 1988 Mariner 45

Symptom: When I pump the primer bulb until its hard everything is ok... If I squeeze the primer bulb some more then fuel will squirt out of a hole inside a screw located at the top of the carburetor. This only happens when I am squeezing the primer bulb pretty good.

Is this normal?

That would be your carb. bowl vent doing what it's supposed to do. Don't squeeze so much.
