Quick Flush P.o.s.

I hope this question is OK in this forum. I have a quick disconnect flush attachment. It flushes great, however the plastic plunger gets stuck in "flush position" and the the water flows out. This is my third replacement... Today the darn thing was stuck again, so I pulled my pcket knife out to pull the plunger out- it sliped and BAM Huge gash in hand. Is there a better product???? Or a better way???

Why can't you just plumb it with a regular 3/4 hose fitting?
