Quick help on what I will need

I am just posting here to find out what I need to order. I have a 94 Crownline with an Alpha 1 Lower and Mercruiser 5.0 2 BBL carbed motor.

I want to go ahead and order the Water Pump, or Impeller, whichever this has and replace that to be on the safe side. I am spitting good water out, but I like to know its good. I just got the boat back in April, so I am not sure what all I should really do.

The oil still looks golden, so I know that was clean when I purchased it, as the guy had just changed it. I have run about 10 hours on the clock since purchasing it. I do have the manual, just have not had to much time to really sit down and go through it.

I am new to I/O's, as I had an outboard for about 11 years.

You need an impeller kit for an Alpha 1, gen 2.......
Which I am sure is available right here on iboats.....​

Anything else that I should do, or should this be all for now?

I plan on doing the Oil, and Spark Plugs within a month, but just also want to have this. I plan on buying it from Iboats, got the Smart Tabs from here also.

Well, I would have said ti drain the drive & see what the gear lube looks like, but you will do that to redo the impeller......
I would pressure test the drive after draining & before disassembly to make sure it will hold 15# of pressure to insure there are no seal leaks.......​
