Hi Guys,
I made another post about carb recommendations, and ive decided to go with a double pumper, mainly because i can get one off of someone i know for cheaper than a rebuild kit for a quadrajet.
With that being said, i just wanted to make sure it will fit my application. i know i will need a different throttle linkage mount, this is not a big deal to me.
My question is will the front bowl clear the thermostat housing on a Mercruiser 228? Here is a picture of the housing i have now
I do not have the stock 228 (305) anymore, i have around 400 horsepower in a 350 i built, so a double pumper would not be to overkill
