quick question about which impeller

I searched the site, can't find a definitive answer...

1977 Mercruiser 233, its an alpha #1 drive? What impeller do I get for it? a pre-alpha?

No such thing as a "Pre Alpha", Is it the original drive for the boat? That would be a MC-1 drive, or is it an Alpha I? the Alpha I drive didn't come out until 1986.

Either way it uses the same impeller kit that includes the gaskets.
