Quick question! Merc 150

Looking to buy this Glastron with a bad motor. Believe its a 78 150 mercury. I dont want the motor but the guy is stalling because he doesnt want to pull the motor so I can just buy the boat. He says its a bad #3 cylinder but everything else is good. Im looking for a rough estimate of how much this would be worth in its current condition. If I can sell it for parts for more than hes asking for it then Ill take the whole deal and try to make a few bucks. Hes pricing it at $350

Depends on condition. IF everything is really clean and in good condition, parts can be worth a decent amount. Lower unit could be $150-$250 on craigslist to someone whose gearcase goes out... If the electronics are good, coils, stator, trigger, switch boxes, then those are worth a decent amount on eBay. Then you have the flywheel and other motor parts. The cowl is worth money on eBay as well... Its really all about time, its a pain in the *** to part things out and deal with shipping everything...
