The boat is coming along nicely, replaced the rub rail this weekend (106.00) for just the insert!!! Anyways, it looks much better. I also found new rims and tires at a garage sale for 20 dollars so changed them out as the old ones were beyond shot. (ironically, I paid 10 dollars a piece for the tires/rims and replaced the rusty old lug nuts they were 2 dollars per) My next project will be to attempt to repair the or replace the guages. It appears the fuel, tach and volt work, the oil pressure appears to give a proper read out but bounces occasionally, the tilt/trim stays pegged and speedo doesn't work. I have been looking at guage clusters, are they all compatible or more involved? once agin any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Re: Quick question reference guages.

Speedo is non-electrical. Plugged pitot, pinched tube between pitot and gauge, or rusted up gauge. Disconnect the tube at the gauge and blow it out.

Trim gauges are engine/drive dependent. Oil pressure sender and water temp sender must match the gauges. Voltmeter and gas gauge are generic.
