Quick Rear Engine Mount Question

Pulled the engine last night to replace the coupler. Expecting to find double wound lock washers on the rear mounts but found flat washers instead.

I found some mention of flat washers in some threads in this forum, but no clear explanation.

Is it OK to put back with washers or should I get the springs?

Is there a service bulletin or other Merc info regarding this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks - Ron

That's the one.
I updated my signature but I guess I should have probably mentioned it as well.

I'm using manual #25 for the job. Closest one I could find.

Re: Quick Rear Engine Mount Question

Those double wound washers have been removed and a longer mount has been made, so all that's needed is the fibre washer. Yes there is a service bulletin on it somewhere... If I manage to dig it up I'll post it here.
