Here is my dilemma.. I have a 1996 Sylvan V196 that has a Quicksilver 3000 remote commander. The first thing I have noticed lately is that when I hit forward there is "some" tension that has gotten progressivley worse in the last couple of weeks. If i put it in reverse at WOT the roller for the cutoff switch is on top of the "u" groove. I am thinking the shift cable needs adjusting since it is only about 1 year old. I have also notice that when I go into forward and hit the "detent" section of the throttle... it seems as though I need to give it a "little" effort while I advance the commander so my passengers do not get whiplash when it does kick in. Everything just seems a little out of "whack" and i'd like to get a manual for it to just kind of go "through" it before I drop $400 on a new one. This commander has the run/off toggle to the lower left, the neutral button in the bottm of the controller, the trim in the top of the handle, the trailer button in the lower right, and it states Quicksilver 3000 on the decal on the lower left side of the top plastci panel. All of the decals for serials on it have been removed.
