I have a quart of quicksilver premium and was wondering if there is any reason not to fill my 67' v4 evinrude manual shift with it, I don't remeber how I even aquired it, it looks and smells like gear lube,
I'm thinking it's good stuff to use in a gearcase but just looking for reassurance from someone else.

If it is Electric Shift-NO. Those require OMC Type C. If it is manual-OK.

Thanks thats kinda what I thought too, manual shift case, just a couple gears, bushings a pinion bearing and a clutch dog, it doesn't get much easier, no clutch packs either. The q-silver premium doesn't say what viscosity it is on the bottle anywhere and doesn't say on the tech data site either?

It's very similar to OMC/BRP Hi Vis.
