Hi. As far as I know, that’s the old quicksilver laser 2 for the smaller gearcase. Usually around 75-125hp 2 strokes in general terms.
Don’t quote me, but it should fit…but my word of caution around it being a 20”…might be to make sure it’s going to be ok for you. Unless you have a fairly light small boat with a hint of performance about its hull…it may be verging on too much pitch for your 75. Anything more than a boat like the above is pushing it really.
It depends on what particular 75 you have perhaps, but I can throw a comparison at you.
I had a 16ft fletcher speedboat. She had a 90hp mercury from around 1996-98. As far as I know, the 75 from around them may have a similar ratio to the 90. The fletcher hull is a fairly fast hull. Weight was around 400kgs or close dry and no engine. I had a 19” stainless on that set up. It may have turned a 20” laser…but with the 19” it went well and in the rpm range at around early 40’s gps any given day. Like I say…that hull was a quick hull with a little heritage in her dna.
So think about what you have and with less power…just to make sure you’ll be ok. Just thought I’d mention it. All the best

Welcome to iboats

Probably not. Is it a 3 or 4 cylinder? Gear Ratios are different between the 2

As far as I know, it will fit with the right hub kit…but just need to know if it’s pitch is going to be ok for you. What boat you have it in on and what pitch you running now ?

Hey thanks for the reply, I've just bought the boat from a friend, this prop was on it but was substituted for a solas 18 inch.
Not sure why.
Boat is a 96 Savage Osprey 5.25 SP aluminium, with fibreglass cabin, motor same year Mercury 75 HP, 3 Cyl

It's on the boat now and seems to be going well, although I haven't opened it up yet
See if you can get what rpms and speed it’s doing gps. You’ll be able to tell if you can afford to lose another 300-400 rpm.

I have an early model Laser II with the square ports, 13+x20. The hub is pressed in and ran on my 2002 115 on a Crestliner 1750 with the same size gearbox as your 75, just used a 2.0 gear ratio. If your boat isn't loaded down with a lot of coolers and lunch. and the engine is putting out the ponies, the 20P should do you just fine on your 75. My 2002 90 powered a 17.5' Fishmaster aluminum bass boat, had typical BB amenities (weight additions) with a stepped hull....Avatar is a picture of the wake kissing 50 GPS with a 24P Ballistic, 56-5700 RPM. The 75 and 90 ran the same 2.33 gearbox and the 20P wasn't enough pitch for that boat/engine setup.
