Re: quicksilver trim gauge

Most likely, the wiring isnt the problem. It's been my experience that the sending units have a short life expectancy. I have seen replacement senders, and thougt about getting a couple myself, but not sure if they would work on my OMC Cobras but they're like $50 each.

Sorry I dont know how to tell you to wire it up.. if it's a quicksilver part, you may check thier website, or support number.

im pretty sure i found the problem. i unplugged the trim senders and connected them to a battery with a test light one lit up but the other one didnt . im not sure what one is bad but im guessing its the trim sending side cause the trim limit switch is working cause the trim switch works like its suppose to. i just put it back together and realy dont want to take it all apart agian.
