quickstart system check

anyone know how to check quick start system to determine whether it is working. engine starts ok it seems but I don't notice a change in rpm drop on cold start-up as when motor was new. 1995 70 hp evinrude with S.L.O.W. & quickstart feature.any help or advice is appreciated.

If you unplug the white/black wire from the temp sender on a cold start, while running you should notice a rpm drop.Also you can verify quickstart with a timeing light at the flywheel.
