Re: r ight or left prop
Right-hand spins clockwise looking from behind. Left hand (counter-rotation), well you know. Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey.

A phenomena called Steering Torque occurs when you have a prop turning round and round pushing the boat in a line. You feel it in the steering wheel or on the tiller handle. Boats with two motors use opposite-turning props so that the steering torque of one is matched by the other, only opposite, negating the effect.
