I am looking to purchace a Racor fuel/water separator for my 04' Yamaha F115. I am a little confused on which one to get. They have 60 and 90 gph elements for outboards and different filtration increments. From the Racor web site, it sounds like the standard filter is a 2 micron? Anyone know which one is right for the application? Thanks!

Re: Racor filters?

The 60 gph model is more than sufficient, and 10 microns would be the filter you'd want...

Actually, I don't think they sell a 2 micron filter that's intended for gasoline engines..

Re: Racor filters?

My boat with 250 Evinrude came stock with the Racor 2 Micron filter.
I burn less than 20gph @ WOT so the 60 is way overkill (not a bad thing) :D
