Racor fuel water filter/seperator...

Anyone have any experience with the Racors that have an integrated primer button like the 460 or 215? Are these sufficient to actually perform a good prime from the source?

not really - they are more of a -if you run out of fuel primer to get you going - dont rely on them though - they were desighned for diesel engines to help get fuel up from the tank if you ever run out - and any trucker knows not to rely on them .

So nothing more than your typicall filter prime. I was reading an article that actually referenced the built in primer as "being an integrated palm primer" or some such thing. Looking at it I was thinking whoa, not much volume.
