Radio shock mounting?

Hi, all.
So, the last time I took my 16 foot 1959 Dorsett out, I let my friend take the helm. We were on Lake Michigan, 20mph winds, storms coming in, and waves 2-3 feet. He brought us in pretty quickly over the waves, and some of the people on the dock even complimented us on how we caught air jumping from wavetop to wavetop. That's what I get for letting an ex-firefighter drive. The boat is seaworthy, just not firefighter-proofed.
Unfortunately, the radio-cd player I had installed crapped out by the end of our little trip. It's mounted in the cabin, so it wasn't a water issue. It appears to have been jarred hard enough and often enough that it stopped working.
Anybody have ideas on how to shock-mount a car stereo on a boat?
Thanks in advance!
