We are having some bad storms here. The wind has allowed water into my boat rebuild
I have no drain installed yet. New transom and the main stringer getting wet
The transom is sealed but the main stringer is only tabbed in right now
I did coat with resin at top. Im worried about the wood. I used exterior ply. Im thinking about drilling a small drain hole in the hull to repair later. I could pump the water out but it is still raining pretty good. I did stop the water from getting in. Any suggestions. Thanks

Re: rain everywhere

I think you should drill the drain hole. It will be easy to fix after everything drains and drys.

Re: rain everywhere

Here in delaware the storms hit here today. I got rain into my boat for about 1 hour. Like a drizzle, but i had the floor all sanded and the glass and resin all sanded that i did last night. It got wet but i covered it with a tarp and i put a deuumidifier in it on a bucket and its draining into the splashwell and out the boat is covered. This boat i refoamed and am in the middle of reflooring so i want to protect it!
