yes, there is nothing better that provides more mounting flexibility.... There are hundreds of components that you can buy from RAM for any mounting scenario....
On old boat had one they are the best. When I get a better set up for this boat will definitly have it mounted on the ram setup. Never had it move no matter how rough the ride got.....
