Ran across this on eBay (1988 Bayliner)

Didn't know if anyone was on the lookout for a boat to restore. I was searching eBay for Bayliner parts when I saw this:

Doesn't appear to be a bad price---engine, outdrive, trailer, etc.

Those are so damn ugly lol. I wouldnt buy anything like that unless it was WHAT I was looking for. Im all about finding the "right" deal. And being something that I would like is part of that.

ye they are ugly... It needs floor and prob stingers from what I can see, might need transom... Alot of work but would be worth it in the long run if you like a ugly looken boat! LOL even from brand new they were ugly. Thats just my opionon. Its a good deal because if you cant get it sorted out you can always just PART it out d

Geez, when you guys said it was an ugly boat you sure weren't kidding. :%

Good trailer though. Somebody needs to do the boating world a favor and cut up that boat and put it in the dumpster.

besides being ugly, it is a horrible layout. all that waste front deck, ( can't mount a pedistal seat) no rod storage, no room in the cockpit. the cabin is only big enough for a port a potty.

Agree with the title idea posted above, specially if you intend to title/use in Texas or if your state is picky about titles. If not, you'll wind up an expensive title mess and sales tax mess with the Texas boat people...they are getting to be real sticklers down here cause the Guv wants his share of the inflated fees.
