My top-list seller sent me the 2005 survey on the Cavalier (http://hamilton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-boats-watercraft-powerboats-motorboats-Doral-Cavalier-W0QQAdIdZ377701543) I am zeroing in on, and that survey has got me even more pumped about this boat. Everything was positive (including the moisture levels, piping, tubing etc.) and those items that were faulty have been addressed (invoice shown). Now I am wondering . . . it is certainly some degree of hassle (the cost is not an issue) to have a new survey done (I will do a lake trial) in view of the fact that this seller obviously takes very good care of his stuff. Would it be silly of me to pass on that step? I have sent out inquiries to local surveyors but haven't got a reply yet.
My other rambling thought: Is there an A/C solution for these small cabin cruisers? It seems there has been some advances i nA/C design over the past few years, and this might be one feature to insert more enthusiasm into SWMBO on the issue of boat enlargement.
