Been checking the Calendar on this site. There don't seem to be any activities posted, only birthdays. Is there a yearly list of planned activities somewhere?
My Boat's not really a project. More like a Hobby. We use it as much as we can. It would be nice to find a Buddy Boat or 2 or 3 to go cruising with. My Lady Claire is not a blue water sailor, but She braves the Stormy Seas for me. As long as their not stormy!
We live in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. The days are getting shorter so Catalina is getting less inviting, but if if you're going to go over & fish let me know. Ditto Santa Cruz & Anacapa.
Been thinking about next spring: Haven't been to Powell, on my boat, in years. It's getting to be time. Anyone planning on Powell, or Mead, or the Delta or Havasu or?
We went to Puget Sound in July, had a Great Time, think we'll skip next year and go again in 13. Unless someone wants to go next year, I can resist anything, except temptation.

John, simply set a tentative date and you'll be surprised who chimes in. I set one for a get together almost 6 months ago. We had 18 people show and still get together with most of them and yak on the phone about once/twice a week. We have had a second get together since then and they have all become good friends.

You have to start it tho. Set a place and time. Just give enough advanced notice.
