Hello Iboats!!!,
I'm new to this forum and new to bass boat ownership as well. I recently acquired a 1987 Ranger 374V and the dash panel has been replaced with a stainless piece. The previous owner did not label the switches on the panel. I was wondering if anyone had a diagram or layout of the dash and the items on it. I don't want to burn out a motor or run a battery down by inadvertantly leaving a switch on

Also, does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram as well?

Any Help would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks!

Switches are off in the DOWN position. No problem there. ON-OFF-ON switches are off in the middle. Also not a problem. Don't need labels for that. You can determine what the switches are for by turning them on and checking what accessory is operating. You can also buy stick on labels to mark the switches if you feel the need. Contact Ranger for the wiring diagram for the boat. Be aware though that that diagram will not cover the engine since Ranger has no idea what engine eventually ended up on the boat. You therefore need a service manual for your current engine/drive.

Welcome to iboats!:welcome:

In addition to Silvertip's comments, I would add that a lot might have been changed in the wiring in the past 26 years, so even if Ranger can supply you with the original wiring diagram, it might not match what you have.
