Ranger boat owners question

I just purchased a 1998 Ranger R71 and had electric brakes installed on my tow vecheal and I noticed when I hooded the boat up the first time today the light does not turn green and I connected the boat to another truck and the same thing so it is the boat.

My question is do ranger trail trailers have electric brakes or just surge brakes or both so I know to persue this further. The previous owner said it had electric and it does have a 5 blade flat plug and the 7 plug round.

Do the trailer Wheels have Wires,.... or Hyd. Lines going too them,..??....

Is there a Hyd. Actuator built Into the Hitch,..??....

This belongs in the Trailer Forum,........
But,..... We'll go with it Here,..... Til they move it........

I did not know there was a trailer forum. I will take the question there.
Yes there is hyd lines and the front of the receiver slides in and out.
