On the V364 the motor transom area is flat but not enough room for tabs, the part where the motor mount area goes to the the main hull is like the lubedude's except it is not flat but curved slightly. How do you attach the tab to a non-flat surface, is there a kit???

This is interesting, but I know I could figure a way. I think what I would do is to decide where I wanted them, Mask off the area exactly where the hinge would go, rough up the area with 80 grit sand paper and use a product called duraglass (its a waterproof product), and make a filled in area to mount the hinge to. Now Im an old Autobodyman and this would be easy for me to do. I would drill the holes in this a little larger than the actual mounting holes. Another way and easier would be to put washers along the hinge are as you mount it like maybe 3 on the outside, then down to two, then one, then none, or whatever it took to achieve a straight mounting. Then fill in the void with a product like 3M 5200.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would install them somehow though. They will be on every boat I have from now on.

I am the guy whose Dad told at a very young age to get a lot of education because I would starve if I relied on my hands to eat. He was oh so right but I can seek help. Thank you.

LubeDude an old bodyman? You know what that means don't ya?
That means he's a "fixer", not a "replacer". (knows how to repair, make fit, create, and sculpt.....probably could build a boat out of 3M products and probably knows which 3M parts he'd need).
Hats off to LubeDude, Hard to find a "bodyman" anymore.
