Ranger trailer problem

I just had new bearings,,seals put on my trailer,,on my way home the hub with the sight glass front came off on one side of one axle,,,went back and they re installed it,,,came off again on my way home....anyone ever had this happen? any suggestions?

Sounds like you have oil bath hubs, if they bolt on the the lock washers are probably not doing there job. On semi trailers there is six bolts with lock washers on each preventing them from backing off and the hub falling off. Also If the threads got stripped in the drum it would come off either new drums or retap some new threads

If your just losing a pound in grease cap then u need a slightly bigger size if the sizes are off just a little they can come off easily i had it happen to my boat trailer a few times.
