ranger ??????

I just bought my first ranger. A 1986 373v bass master classic, at least that is what the stickers say. It needs some work mostly cosmetic; paint, carpet and small stuff. I have a question about the transom. It was replaced. They did not completely reglass the inside. It is completely covered but the thickness of the original glass is not there. I looks sound but is it. Any thoughts?
