Pull the wires off the bottom of the oil tank(bullet connectors) and re-test. You do have oil in the oil tank??

Re: rapid beep warning sensor

Sorry, I replied to the wrong post. This is where this reply belongs!

It's not too hot. THe alarm you are hearing is a caused by a sensor in the block to detect rotation of the oil pump. If it is going off, there are a couple of things causing it. Either the oil pump isn't turning (BAD thing) or there is not enough voltage from the switchbox to the warning module.

Easy check for the oil pump is to remove the pump, disconnect the ignition and crank the engine over with your finger holding the oil pump coulper in. If that checks out, then move the green wire from the warning module to a different post on the switchbox. If the alarm stops, leave it there. If it doesn't, you may have a problem with the stator or switchbox.

Good luck and keep us posted!

disconnect the sensor in the oil tank and use a multimeter to test it, if the sensor is bad you will have contunity, if theres no contunity then the alarm module is bad.

Re: rapid beep warning sensor

caspari,

Let us know what you find out on the sensor/continuity thing. After that if the sensor is good, I have some info for you that you may want to check out. (that's assuming that the oil pump/sensor etc. is working properly)

I'll keep checking back...
