Raquette Lake/ Adirondacks

Hello all, Has anyone been to Raquette Lake (Adirondacks, NY) & can you tell me what to look forward too?

I have a little idea as I boat on Lake George all the time. Raquette is about 60 miles Northwest of Lake George so I'm hoping for some of the same just a different lake. We are taking a camping trip this weekend w/ about 20 other friends so I decided to bring my boat. I'm a pretty avid fisherman & am looking forward to the bass, walleye, pike & perch that I catch all the time at LG....

Any input regarding Raquette is appreciated. Thx Dave
